 Today, the children thoroughly enjoyed an interactive assembly from Google all about how to stay safe on the internet. 

They were reminded not to save their passwords on a shared device as well as not sharing their passwords with others. Furthermore, they were reminded about how to be brave and talk to a trusted adult if they are worried about anything either at home or school. They were asked a set of true or false questions about the learning to ensure the children understood how to stay safe on and off line.

Planning our Fieldwork

One of the children brought in some memorabelia from Cowes including a plaque that was on the Blyskawica and an old photo from 1942.  This week, the children have planned the question they would like to answer about their local area as they will be heading into Cowes on Tuesday to collect their data.  Alongside this, the children were introduced to a risk assessment and taps a class they made a risk assessment for Tuesday. Such great ideas and discussions about risks and how we can keep ourselves safe when we go outside of school.
