F1 - Lesson 1: Building a Team

We were very excited today to begin the F1 Project 2025! We started by thinking about the strengths of our teams and considered why each of us was best suited for our chosen role/job. We thought about the skills needed to work together in a team and began to explore how IT can be used to support collaborative working by beginning a glossary of key terms. We are looking forward to developing our team names and logos over the next 2 lessons!

Planning our Fieldwork

One of the children brought in some memorabelia from Cowes including a plaque that was on the Blyskawica and an old photo from 1942.  This week, the children have planned the question they would like to answer about their local area as they will be heading into Cowes on Tuesday to collect their data.  Alongside this, the children were introduced to a risk assessment and taps a class they made a risk assessment for Tuesday. Such great ideas and discussions about risks and how we can keep ourselves safe when we go outside of school.
