F1 - Lesson 4: Car Designs

Today we researched F1 designs that could inspire the creation of our cars, before learning how to draw an isometric representation of a prototype car. We are looking forward to beginning the build for our first prototypes next lesson and have some great ideas for streamlining our designs.

Planning our Fieldwork

One of the children brought in some memorabelia from Cowes including a plaque that was on the Blyskawica and an old photo from 1942.  This week, the children have planned the question they would like to answer about their local area as they will be heading into Cowes on Tuesday to collect their data.  Alongside this, the children were introduced to a risk assessment and taps a class they made a risk assessment for Tuesday. Such great ideas and discussions about risks and how we can keep ourselves safe when we go outside of school.
