What is Global Trade?

Today, the children were introduced to their new journey; they will be studying Economics and Trade. 

They identified what the definition of trade is and how they trade. From there they identified that we can import goods from another country and export goods from our country. This lead to a very clear understanding of global trade and how most of us buy goods from around the world. 

Using this information, the class started to identify different objects, items of clothing they had or were wearing to see how they are connected to the world. Furthermore, they began to use the scale on a map to see how many km their items have travelled.
