Online Reputation

 In PSHE,  the children looked at different online sites to see if they are reliable. Once they chose a person of interest, they used different websites such as Google and Swiggle to see if they are reliable or useful as the children know that they cannot always trust what they read on line. Questions were asked as to what information did you find, how do you know this information is trustworthy or accurate and who wrote the information. 

The children then used Canva to make a fact file about the person they researched. I can’t wait to see the final work.

Planning our Fieldwork

One of the children brought in some memorabelia from Cowes including a plaque that was on the Blyskawica and an old photo from 1942.  This week, the children have planned the question they would like to answer about their local area as they will be heading into Cowes on Tuesday to collect their data.  Alongside this, the children were introduced to a risk assessment and taps a class they made a risk assessment for Tuesday. Such great ideas and discussions about risks and how we can keep ourselves safe when we go outside of school.
