This term we will be looking at nutrition, food hygiene and baking in Design and Technology. We began by conducting market research on existing biscuit products to find out what people enjoy most about their biscuit. We then looked at the nutritional value of a selection of biscuits and discussed how they should be eaten in small quantites as a treat. The children reviewed the 'Eat W






ell plate' and discussed how our diet should mainly contain healthy food items and we identified what they were. The children enjoyed sampling some biscuits today as they began to think about what biscuit they would like to create.
