 Song Writing 

This term, year 5 are going to be writing their own songs. 

This week, we analysed the structure of a few songs. We talked about the difference between the verse and chorus and the impact of a pre-chorus or a middle 8 in a song. 

Looking at some different songs, we noticed that one song might be structured completely differently to another. 

The children started creating a backing track to add their lyrics to in the coming weeks.
